Pentacle Presents: The Gallery and Guests: Boston

Pentacle, the artist services agency based in New York City, returns for the second year with a program of performances by artists from its Gallery Roster including LCTC (Lorraine Chapman The Company) based in Boston, The Moving Architects – formerly from Chicago now based in metropolitan New York, and BARKIN/SELISSEN PROJECT and Dante Brown/Warehouse Dance, both based in New York City. Completing the program will be guest artists with Boston connections: Angie Moon Dance Theatre and Doppelganger Dance Collective. Tickets are $20 general admission and $15 for students, seniors and BDA members in advance, otherwise $25 and $20 respectively at the door.

Activities will include the performances and an artist symposium hosted by Peter DiMuro, Executive Director of The Dance Complex, as well as other activities.

Shaker Dance Revival Project

Join us for three or six days of rigorous training from high caliber dance instructors in a range of disciplines, including ballet and an exciting variety of contemporary dance techniques and modern modalities. Under the direction of Resident Dance Maker Lorraine Chapman and Dance Revivalist Joan Talarico-Brodsky, program participants will attend classes given by an impressive roster of New England-based and nationally and internationally acclaimed dance educators.

DATES: Two sessions June 22-24 and June 27-29
TIMES: 9:00-4:30 each day. Includes a lunch break and opportunities to tour the Village.
COST: $200 for one session or $400 for both. Sign up for one session or both! Participants who sign up for both sessions by March 6 receive a $25 discount. Village members receive a 10% discount.
AGES: Pre-professional dance students ages 15 and up
