Holy Fire Reiki 1 Certification

Reiki is an ancient spiritual art of healing. It is being used increasingly by doctors, nurses and other health care practitioners. Using Universal Life Force, Reiki generates a sense of well-being and balance of Mind, Body and Soul.

Shabnam Hashemi RN, Reiki Master/Teacher

In this class you will receive attunements, learn the history of Reiki, and development of Holy Fire Reiki, fundamental principles, how it works, the chakra system, hand positions, and practice working on self and others. You will receive a certificate which allows you to practice self- Reiki and share the benefits of Reiki with others.

Grounding Movement Series with Jessica Howard

For 5 successive Wednesdays in March, embark on a Grounding Movement series. We will explore post-modern contemporary dance technique for all levels of experience (or no experience). This movement series will focus on moving in and out of the floor, utilizing resistance and release methods. For those that want to connect more to floor work, or become more comfortable with inversions, to those who want to learn to use all surfaces of the body to push from and release into or those just needing to ground out or inwardly this movement series is for you!

This is a mind-body experience, be prepared to leave all “baggage” at the door and step into your body. Drop ins are not allowed… the class will accumulate/build from one week to the next so it is essential to commit to the entire series. sign up here!

Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teaches may receive C.E. credits (3 contact hours) – This workshop is open to all!

Touch is one of the ways we connect to the world. As a dialogue touch informs our perceptions and the ways we experience touch have varying effects due to intentions of the way in which we are touched and touch others. This experiential lab will explore hands on Adjustments & Therapeutic approaches to asanas as well as bringing awareness to subtle energies through touch.

Community Programs

Memory Cafe – Feb 23rd 11 am – 1 pm (registration required)
February’s program is is a creative approach to crafting mandala’s for gratitude.
What is a mandala: a geometic symbol representing unity and a point for visual and conceptual meditation For this program we will use a basic circle to inspire each individuals innate creative expression of gratitude


Dance for People with Autism – Thursdays 7:15 – 8pm begins March 2nd (please rsvp)
This dance class is specifically designed for individuals with autism. Repetition and structured movement weaved in with creative exploration make this a fun and safe environment for participants to let loose and challenge their dancing feet. 


Chair Yoga – Tuesdays 3-4pm (walk ins welcome)
This yoga and meditation class is designed for individuals dealing with injury, chronic pain or a physical limitation or those who just want to take things slow. The class will aid in releasing tension and encouraging freedom from mental and/or physical barriers. Empower yourself in Chair Yoga.


Community Open Meditation -Every Monday 7:15 pm
This offering invites meditators to share space and take advantage of the positive force of like minded folks joining together for an un-guided practice. A guide will be present to offer suggestions and help. 


Dancing with Parkinson’s – next class is Wednesday March 1st
The program is a thoughtful and appropriate dance class that allows participants to cope with the physical, mental, and emotional effects of Parkinson’s in a supportive environment. Dance for PD offers a chance for instructors and participants to find joy within the community through movement and music.Offered first Wednesday of each month 11am-12pm – Please Register if you plan to show up!
