Jessica Howard

Jessica is the Abbess, Mentor & Guide of the P.O.T.E.G.P. Spiritual Guidance Center 501(c)(3). The Center was co-founded by Greg Squillante and Jessica in 2011. Jessica completed her apprenticeship in the studies of spirituality, meditation and world religions in 2014. 

 Jessica graduated with her Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre and Dance from Keene State College in 2009. She was recipient of the Alta Lu Townes Memorial Endowment and the Charles Hildebrandt Award in 2009. As a theatre and dance undergraduate Jessica was privileged to study under Marcia Murdock, Cathy Nicoli, Candice Salyers, and William Seigh and was selected to work with guest artists such as Paul Besaw, Mark Dendy, Pilobolus, and Sara Sweetly Rabidoux.

She was formally introduced to yoga as an undergraduate at Keene State College, where she mentored under guidance counselor and yoga instructor Emily Noyes. Jessica received further training for yoga under Brian Russell and Josephine Russell and her 200 hr teaching certification from the SchoolYoga Institute founded by Vedantin Ping Luo. Jessica is a certified E-RYT 200hr with the Yoga Alliance and is the lead instructor for the P.O.T.E.G.P. Instructor Training Program, a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance.

She has continued education in various forms of healing and mindfulness through various professional workshops and Festivals; Jessica has received training from the Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG) for Dance for PD. She is also certified Wellness Professional through the National MS Society.

In addition Jessica works as an independent performance artist, dance educator & choreographer in the Boston and SouthCoast area. She most recently has performed with Lorraine Chapman, the Company and Ali Kenner Brodsky & Co.
