Seeking Volunteers for Nature-based Work Projects

The P.O.T.E.G.P. Spiritual Guidance Center 501 (c) (3) helps seekers develop practical tools to connect to oneself and the world. Our mission is to cultivate a balance among nature, community and individuals. In our programming initiatives, we hope to engage people in holistic living. We offer a variety of programs, including wellness services, creative arts programs, and nature programs. Our 20+ acres in Westport, Massachusetts offers a serene location for a center of refuge and quality educational experience.

Nature education workshops and programs alike foster responsibility and connections to nature by exploring gardens, forests, and fields. Providing hands-on environmental stewardship opportunities for youth and adults, we hope to use the natural world as an integral part of learning. By offering this type of programming, we hope to inspire individuals to participate in environment-based activities, and rediscover the natural wonders of their own community.

You can help support our programs through participation in a work project…

Work Projects include:

Building lean-tos & other infrastructure

Clearing woodland paths

Planting, weeding & Community Gardens

Signage for plant identification in the gardens and woods & path markers

Building bridges and/or benches

Classes, Workshops, Events & Volunteering
